🌿 ECO GRIHAM – Sustainable Homes & Conscious Communities

Eco Griham is a collaborative initiative focused on building sustainable and conscious communities around Auroville. Co-founded by Samarth Kothari and Arpit Kothari, the initiative brings together thoughtful design, traditional craftsmanship, and environmentally conscious construction to create homes that connect people with nature.🏠

Its homes incorporate materials and features such as mud bricks, rammed earth, fly-ash bricks, reclaimed wood, oxide flooring, and low-VOC paints. The projects also integrate sustainability-focused features, including solar panels, rainwater harvesting, greywater treatment, and sewage treatment systems. Spacious balconies, natural daylight, and cross-ventilation are incorporated into the designs to support comfortable living.🏡

Eco Griham also works with local artisans from Auroville and surrounding areas, supporting traditional building techniques and local livelihoods. Its vision is to encourage a community-oriented lifestyle where sustainability, design, healthy living, and connection with nature come together.💚
